as a tampa fan and my whole family is from chicago id love to see a hawks bolts final. would be so entertaining. tons of speed and goals. we gave you guys a point last night for stealing one in chicago. u really cant fault khabby on those goals. all of them were pretty great.

Horrible game. Rozsival was BAD again last night. Not sure if he needs to play more or sit his ass down. They are constantly victimized on the faceoffs in their own zone. That intentional offsides, which ultimately led to the Stamkos PP, was completely bogus.

That said, as $h!tty as they played...i'll take the point

I blame him for the 1st and 6th goals. The fact there were 6 goals, should not sit squarely on his shoulders, however.

This has been beaten to death the past few months but I believe that this is the year that SB will deal some prospects for a legit #2C. All due respect to Zus, this team ain't winning another Cup with him as the 2C.

False, i believe Crawford would have done a much better job at stopping Hedman's goal especially but also Stamkos' beaut of a shot on his first goal. For some reason Crawfrod seems to be pretty decent at stopping re-directs also so again i disagree with you.

Hedman's goal was a weak goal too that he should've had.

If Khabby can't stop that...i've SEEN ENOUGH. No interference..he's JUST A WRINKLY OLD SIEVE.

Bulin was bad last night and he was bad the other game he played too. JJ is right Raanta should get a look, could he be much worse than what Khabby is giving them?

That was a very bizarre game to watch. Felt more like a Hunter S. Thompson book and less like a hockey game. At least the Hawks got a point out of the game.

I suppose the easiest thing to do is blame "Ol' Vodka Tits"- Nikolai Khabibulin. And why not? He wasn't very good. However, it was just one game, and truth be told, the entire Hawks blue line kinda took the night off. And the forwards were only a tick or two better . If it continues I suppose there's reason to worry but either Raanta could be ready for a spell or they make a move. The Universe is still looking for work right?

Rosival is not off to the best start and Handzus has simply been pants but whatever...6-1-3 out of the first 10 is pretty good, especially for a team that's kind of easing into the season. Onwards.

LOL.

Stolichinaya was not to blame last night. The whole team was fighting it a bit. I've never seen a puck bounce around as much as i have the last two games in floriday. Christ they had a helluva time with it last night

Whats pants?

The record is also good considering that unlike every other team in the league they get the opponents best shot every night. Wouldn't mind seeing Raanta soon. On paper hes better than Neimi six months removed from Europe, but I know that means nothing.

As far as Raanta he will be a last resort from the standpoint he is due a big raise if he plays in Chgo.

That said Khabby hasn't impressed me at all and last night he was awful.

November will be big month for Khabby and the Hawks as the schedule turns more congested and as I wrote today there are 18 games in a row coming up versus the West.

Today's article....

Most teams wouldn't have a chance to win with 3 bad goals in regulation..It took a 4th to sink Hawks: My Fox Chicago: http://bit.ly/168XImh

Winning some D zone faceoffs (esp on the PK) and not using the Benny Hill theme as the inspiration for D zone play (esp on the PK) will go a long way to ailing their woes. Again - only ten games in.

Raanta - not ready. Khabi - needs more games to get his form back. Al is right - next month will show everyone what he has left in the tank.

With all due respect to Khabibulin and Handzus, they both have had nice careers, but they look just about finished to me. Handzus continually gets put with nice talent, but cannot keep up with this Hawks team. He was fantastic in the postseason a year ago, and did everything to finally win a Stanley Cup that his tank and his career have now hit empty. The only defense I have for Khabibulin is that he has hardly played, but man rebound control and fighting off routine shots definitely waves a red flag in his direction. I do hope Q isn't so stubborn with one of his guys in Handzus because he has to see it too, but through 10 games he continually gets a shot with very quality wingers so I don't know. As for the Hawks, 6-1-3 is definitely nice, but some of these mistakes are going to start costing them. You cannot continually blow leads at this level and almost always come out smelling like a rose. The hockey Gods at some point will start making the Hawks pay a little if this keeps up. As for Saturday, the Hawks need to be ready, as Minnesota is playing better and now a divisional rival to boot.

Hawks/player formerly knowed as "Bullin Wall " tried their darnest to give the Bolts two points last night in regulation but they wouldn't take them.

TT update: In 4-1 victory Teuvo had 0+1. Was centering the second line again.
